Civil Engineering Technician

Civil Engineering Technician candidates have Civil3D design and drafting expertise in a variety of areas, including site grading, pipe networks, road alignments, and corridor modeling.  Interested candidates must be able to create these civil engineering design elements as well as prepare technical drawings and construction plans.  Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and work well with engineers and drafters.  Two-year post-secondary training in drafting and/or civil engineering is required.  Autocad and Civil3D experience is required.  Knowledge of other civil engineering and drafting programs such as Eagle Point, Geopak, and Microstation is a plus.

Structural Design Engineers

MKA structural engineers have an interest in high-rise, long-span, and structurally complex designs. Our engineers work in teams on a variety of interesting and challenging architectural projects primarily throughout the United States but also around the world in regions such as Asia and the Middle East. Interested engineers must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a motivation to excel, and a strong work ethic. A MSCE is required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Civil (Site) Design Engineers

MKA civil engineers have an interest in site development and infrastructure improvements. Candidates will have hands-on design skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including storm drainage and erosion control, site grading, and site utility design. Experience in low-impact design, natural drainage systems, or sustainable site design is a plus. Interested engineers must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a motivation to excel, and a strong work ethic. A BSCE is required, and knowledge of CAD and civil engineering software programs such as Civil3D, Eagle Point, and Geopak is preferred.

Civil and Structural CADD Operators

MKA CADD operators work closely with the structural and civil engineers as part of a project design team. Drawing production is done using MicroStation; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Administrative, Accounting, and Marketing Staff

A variety of positions exist in support of our engineering operations, working within our Administrative, Accounting, and Marketing Departments and ranging from general office to accounts payable/receivable to proposal coordination.  As positions become available, specific duties and corresponding qualifications will be described in detail under "Current Openings."
